Melanie Oudin will not do well until she realizes that when she was a factor, she was up at or inside the baseline a lot. Now, she plays from four to fifteen feet behind the baseline. Why? Ask her. Her service motion has never been particularly good, No real racquet speed is generated. All of this could be rectified. The questions are: Where are the coaches? Why don't they see this? Even her forehand has changed for the worse.
